The City of Palm Coast will begin the Palm Coast Parkway Resurfacing Project on the evening of Sunday, June 28. This project will include the complete milling and resurfacing of Palm Coast Parkway from US-1 to Hammock Beach Bridge, as well as the extension of two turn lanes, which will be located at the intersections of Pine Lakes Parkway and Bridgehaven Drive.
The work on this project will closely mirror that of the Whiteview Parkway and Belle Terre Parkway traffic improvement projects that are currently underway and are slated to be completed in August 2026 and February 2027 respectively. Unlike those projects, work on the Palm Coast Parkway project will be completed during overnight hours from 8pm to 7am. During this time, motorists can expect nightly lane closures for the duration of the project.
“We’re looking forward to completing this project and restoring one of our city’s major thoroughfares and adding turn lanes to enhance traffic flow,” said project manager Tyler Gibson. “Fortunately, since the project is not located in a residential area, we will be able to complete the work during overnight hours for the benefit of daytime traffic flow while work is underway.”
This project is slated to be completed in December 2026. Updates will be provided throughout construction at palmcoast.gov/pcprogress
