The Palm Coast Fire Department hosted a Gold Star Dedication Ceremony on May 23, 2026, honoring the life and sacrifice of Army Sergeant James M. Treber by dedicating Fire Engine 26 in his memory.

The City of Palm Coast proudly celebrated the grand opening of Fire Station 26 on Memorial Day weekend, marking a major milestone in public safety, service expansion, and community investment.

The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public, and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. An increase in public engagement helps to build a stronger sense of community, increase valuable discussions, and decrease division.

More than 150 youth lacrosse teams from across Florida are expected to descend on Palm Coast June 20-21, 2026, as the city hosts the 18th annual Father's Day Lacrosse Tournament, Florida's largest Father's Day weekend lacrosse event.
