The City of Palm Coast announces that both the large and small dog park areas at Lehigh Trailhead will be temporarily closed from June 29 through July 2 for preventative maintenance and new sod installation. The parks are scheduled to reopen on Friday, July 3, in time for the Independence Day holiday weekend.

These improvements are part of the City's ongoing commitment to maintaining safe, attractive, and enjoyable recreational amenities for residents and their pets.

Residents seeking an alternative during the temporary closure are encouraged to visit the dog parks at James F. Holland Memorial Park, located at 18 Florida Park Drive North, which offer separate areas for both large and small dogs.

The City appreciates the community's patience and understanding as this work is completed and looks forward to welcoming residents and their furry companions back to an enhanced facility.
