City of Palm Coast Utility Bill Rates to Adjust October 1

Beginning October 1, 2026, rates for water, wastewater, stormwater, and solid waste services included on the City of Palm Coast’s utility bill will be adjusted.

These adjustments are part of the City’s established rate structure and are not new or unplanned increases. The City’s water and wastewater rates include an annual adjustment outlined in the approved utility rate ordinance and Utility Strategic Plan. The stormwater adjustment is part of a five-year fee schedule established through the City’s 2023 Stormwater Rate Study. Solid waste rates are adjusted in accordance with the City’s residential solid waste agreement with FCC Environmental Services Inc.

Water and wastewater rates will increase by 5.1% effective October 1. The annual adjustment is based on the U.S. Consumer Price Index (CPI) Water and Sewerage Maintenance Services Index.

The monthly stormwater rate will adjust from $36.16 to $38.33 per Equivalent Residential Unit (ERU), an increase of $2.17 per month.
The monthly residential solid waste rate will be $34.37, in accordance with the City’s agreement with FCC Environmental Services Inc.

All four services, water, wastewater, stormwater, and solid waste, are included on the City’s monthly utility bill. The adjustments support the continued operation, maintenance, and long-term planning of the services and infrastructure that serve Palm Coast residents.

All utility customers will receive a notice in their October 1st Utility bill with a complete schedule of updated utility rates. Residents can learn more about the City’s utility projects and long-term infrastructure planning at palmcoast.gov/utility-strategic-plan.
