Celebrating its 50th anniversary in 2026, the Florida SBDC Network continues its mission of helping entrepreneurs and small businesses succeed throughout the state. This year, that commitment was further recognized when the Florida SBDC at the University of Central Florida was named the U.S. Small Business Administration’s 2026 National Small Business Development Center of the Year.

The Florida SBDC is the state’s largest network of small business consultants, providing access to no-cost consulting, affordable training, innovative tools, and experienced business professionals. The network includes more than 220 consultants and specialists across Florida, many of whom have firsthand experience building, growing, and sustaining successful businesses themselves. Their consultants also live and work in the communities they serve, bringing valuable regional insight and a vested interest in helping local businesses succeed.

“We are excited to partner with the Florida SBDC Network on this event and for their continued support of our local entrepreneurs and business community over the years,” said Palm Coast Economic Development Manager Craig McKinney. “Their expertise, resources, and commitment to helping businesses succeed have played an important role in supporting economic growth and creating opportunities for businesses at every stage of development here in Palm Coast.”
