City of Palm Coast Offers Wide Range of Summer Camps for Families in 2026

As summer approaches, the City of Palm Coast Parks & Recreation Department is offering a wide variety of camps designed to keep kids active, engaged, and learning throughout the break. With options ranging from sports and adventure to hands-on career experiences, there are opportunities for children of all ages and interests.
As summer approaches, the City of Palm Coast Parks & Recreation Department is offering a wide variety of camps designed to keep kids active, engaged, and learning throughout the break. With options ranging from sports and adventure to hands-on career experiences, there are opportunities for children of all ages and interests.
“Summer is a time for kids to explore new interests, build confidence, and create lasting memories,” said Parks & Recreation Director James Hirst. “We’re proud to offer a lineup of camps that not only keep kids active, but also provide meaningful, hands-on experiences for families across Palm Coast.”
Among this year’s offerings is the Firefighter Kids Camp, where participants will step into the role of a junior firefighter at Fire Station 25. Campers will use real fire equipment and learn firefighting techniques, CPR and first aid basics, fire safety, and how to properly use a fire extinguisher.
Two sessions are available:
Ages 7–9: June 1–5, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Ages 10–12: June 8–12, 8:30 a.m. – 11:30 a.m.
Each session is $60.
For teens looking for adventure, the Teen Adventure Camp offers a full week of field trips and activities designed to get campers out of the house and into new experiences. Open to students who have completed grades 6–8, the camp includes two sessions:
June 22–26, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
July 13–17, 8:30 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Each session is $175.
Sports enthusiasts can take advantage of several skill-building camps throughout the summer. The Basketball Camp, held at the Buddy Taylor Middle School gym, focuses on developing fundamentals while building confidence and teamwork. Open to students who have completed grades 6–8, two sessions are available:
July 6–10, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
July 20–24, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Each session is $75.
At the Palm Harbor Golf Course, the Golf Summer Camp provides instruction from LPGA Class A Professional Donna Serino. Campers ages 6–13 will learn short game, full swing, putting, etiquette, and sportsmanship in a fun and supportive environment. Sessions are held from 9 a.m. to 11 a.m.:
June 8–11
June 15–18
June 29 – July 2
Each session is $170.
The City will also offer a Pickleball Youth Camp at the Southern Recreation Center, where participants ages 8–17 can learn the fundamentals of one of the fastest-growing sports in the country. The camp includes drills, games, and skill-building activities in a fun, energetic environment. Sessions include:
June 15–19, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
July 20–24, 9 a.m. – 12 p.m.
Each session is $125.
With a diverse lineup of camps, the City aims to provide families with flexible, affordable options that keep kids engaged throughout the summer months.
Registration for all camps is now open. Residents can visit parksandrec.fun and search by keyword or program name to secure their spot. Spots are limited, and many programs fill quickly, register today!
