The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public, and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. An increase in public engagement helps to build a stronger sense of community, increase valuable discussions, and decrease division.

The agenda for the City Council Business Meeting on Tuesday, June 16, 2026, at 9:00 a.m. will be as follows:
Proclamations and Presentations
The following proclamations will be made:
- The City Administration will present a proclamation honoring and celebrating the life, service, and legacy of Art Dyke, the City’s first Historian.
- The City Administration will present a proclamation recognizing June 21-27 as National Mosquito Control Awareness Week.
- The Parks and Recreation Department will Recognize the Month of July as Park and Recreation month.
- The Flagler County Sheriffs Office will deliver a presentation to assist City Council during upcoming budget preparations.

Consent
The following items will be presented for consent:
- The Utility Department will present a resolution approving a work order with Jacobs Engineering Group, Inc. for a master pump station odor control framework development and design and construction services. The project will help address sewer system odor issues and will be funded across Fiscal Years 2026 and 2027.
- The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present a resolution approving a work order with Freese and Nichols to study stormwater improvements at the Dry Lake site aimed at reducing flooding in southern Palm Coast. The project is funded through the FY 2026 Stormwater Engineering Fund.
- The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present a resolution approving a work order with Freese and Nichols for a preliminary report evaluating a proposed Belle Terre Stormwater Park. The study will explore using a City-owned parcel to increase stormwater storage, reduce flooding in northern Palm Coast, and provide future recreational opportunities.
- The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present a resolution to approve construction contracts for multi-site stormwater pipe rehabilitation and replacement.
- The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present a resolution to approve a work order with Freese and Nichols for the Lehigh Canal Extension Feasibility Study. The study will evaluate whether extending the canal could improve stormwater flow, reduce flooding risks, and provide a more efficient discharge route to the Matanzas River. The project is funded through the FY 2026 Stormwater Engineering Fund.
Resolutions
The following ordinances will be presented:
- The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present a resolution approving utilizing unused pre-approved funds from the Indian Trails Sports Complex parking expansion project to advance the construction of additional parking at the Southern Recreation Center.
Public Comments will be opened at the beginning and end of the meeting in accordance with Section 286.0114, Florida Statutes, and pursuant to the City Council’s Meeting Policies and Procedures. Each speaker will approach the podium, provide his/her name, and may speak for up to 3 minutes.
Additionally, public comments on non-agenda items will be limited to 30 minutes at the beginning and end of each meeting. This schedule is subject to change due to holidays or other unforeseen circumstances. Residents are encouraged to visit the Palm Coast City Council meeting webpage for the latest schedule and agenda updates.
In addition to City Council meetings and workshops, residents are encouraged to participate in a variety of public meetings—including advisory boards, committees, and special sessions—taking place over the next week. Attending in person, tuning in live on the City’s YouTube channel, or reviewing meeting materials online are all great ways to stay informed and engaged in local government.
