We are seeking energetic and motivated candidates that have knowledge of sports and games and can engage in athletic adult programming. The purpose of the position is to organize, supervise and lead adult recreation activities and/or athletics programs. Employees in this classification perform at entry level and are responsible for providing a safe recreational environment for the assigned community programs, adult programs, summer camps, youth activities and/or special events provided by the City. Employee works with independence and initiative within established policies and procedures. Performs other duties as dictated by the nature of the program. Must possess a high school diploma or GED; supplemented by previous experience with similar recreational or educational experience. Must possess and maintain, or be able to obtain, Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR), First Aid, & AED certifications. Must possess and maintain a valid Florida Identification Card. This is a temporary part-time position.
