The City of Palm Coast’s Public Works Department will host its 5th Annual Touch-a-Truck event on Saturday May 17, 2025, from 10am-1pm outside Central Park in Town Center. The family-friendly outing, which coincides with the start of National Public Works Week, allows the opportunity for attendees to get up close and personal with a diverse set of larger-than-life municipal and specialty vehicles.
This year’s event is set to be the biggest yet with over 75 vehicles on display, 13 food trucks, and activities for the whole family to enjoy. Beyond vehicles from the City of Palm Coast, past events have featured vehicles from an array of agencies like Flagler County Fire Rescue, Flagler County Sheriff’s Office, Florida Highway Patrol, NASCAR and more.
“Touch-a-Truck is a truly special event for our community and it’s amazing to see the growth, not only in attendance, but also in the participation from our great local partner agencies,” said event organizer, Public Works Specialist, Benny Cope. “It’s a fun, educational and interactive so it really has a little bit of something for everyone.”
Food Trucks featured at the event will include:
Crazy Good Eats
Chic Fila
Kona Ice
Cool beans
Mary’s Philly Cheesesteak
Wicked Good Mini Donuts
Andreas Italian ice
Sweet Sheila’s Funnel Cakes and more.
While some of the vehicles featured at the event do emit loud noises and horns, the first hour of this year’s event (10-11am) will be completely horn free for those with sensory sensitivities. Parking for the event will be designated along Central Ave and City Place in Town Center. For more information, email Benny Cope at bcope@palmcoast.gov.com
