The Palm Coast City Council meets regularly to discuss and vote on official City business. These meetings are open to the public, and Palm Coast residents are strongly encouraged to attend. An increase in public engagement helps to build a stronger sense of community, increase valuable discussions, and decrease division.

The agenda for the City Council Workshop Meeting on Tuesday, August 26, at 9 a.m. will be as follows:

Presentations

The following presentations will be made:

  1. The Financial Services Department will present the final proposed budget for all appropriated funds for Fiscal Year 2026. Highlights include proposed General Fund revenues of $68.6 million, a TRIM rate of 4.1893 mills, and strategic investments in public safety, parks, and infrastructure. 
  2. The Parks and Recreation Department will provide a presentation on the current state and future planning of Palm Harbor Golf Club. 
  3. The Stormwater and Engineering Department will present stakeholder engagement efforts and programming plans for repurposing Fire Station 22 to meet evolving community needs.
  4. The Parks and Recreation Department will give an update on potential partnerships and design concepts for the proposed Palm Coast Aquatics Center in coordination with the YMCA.
  5. The Parks and Recreation Department will present an overview of the vision and proposed programming for the Southern Recreation Center.
  6. The Human Resources Department will give an update regarding the City’s process and progress in the ongoing City Manager search including scoring and selection of initial candidates.

Public Comments will be opened at the beginning and end of the workshop in accordance with Section 286.0114, Florida Statutes, and pursuant to the City Council’s Meeting Policies and Procedures. Each speaker will approach the podium, provide his/her name, and may speak for up to 3 minutes.

Please note that no proclamations are scheduled for this specific meeting. Additionally, public comments on non-agenda items will be limited to 30 minutes at the beginning and end of each meeting. This schedule is subject to change due to holidays or other unforeseen circumstances.
